Description

Energy Transportation Group is growing at a rapid rate and is currently seeking to add a Customer Service Representatives to our Montreal team. As the Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with our Business Development Managers and Operations team to help support the day-to-day operations of our customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing customers in a third-party transportation environment.

Responsibilities


  • Provide assistance by telephone and email to customers and business partners
  • Develop strong relationships with all customers
  • Work with customer contacts to understand their shipping needs
  • Enter orders into Transportation Management System (TMW)
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure shipments are covered with the best practical options
  • Schedule loads and communicate any shipment issues to respective parties
  • Respond to problems with a sense of urgency and look for ways to improve operational inefficiencies
  • Work with Finance Department to ensure all billing is accurate

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience within a 3PL brokerage/transportation environment
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve all issues
  • Driven and competitive nature
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations
